I purchased these for our taco party because they were compostable. Handy, useful and perfect to hold two tacos. The sides of the plate are really small, but enough for a couple little bites of beans and rice or salsas. Sturdy, not flimsy. But for me, compostable is the thing. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Used these plates with our taco bar. They are very strong, no accidents. So happy we got these! Everyone loves being able to make their taco with ease. It held it up perfectly. Bought shells based on plate size. These were smaller which worked great, kept people from fixing more than they were able to eat. Those who wanted more went back for seconds with same plate because they did not get flimsy.
