I worked as a meat cutter in the 1970's, long before China forced everything to get downgraded. Freezer paper back then was very good. More recently some rolls have been a little weak, but functional. but this paper is STRONG. And the plastic film is as good as you could want--I have frozen vegetables several years old that are as good as shortly after being wrapped and frozen. I have been using it for a couple of years now with absolutely no complaints, and no desire to look for anything better. Highly recommend.

It has been so painful to try to find meat wrapping freezer paper for the last 10 years. Everything is so thin and wimpy that I have to double wrap everything. FINALLY!!!!! This is a great product. So nice and thick!! I won't have to double wrap everything anymore!! It is like the freezer paper that we used to get from the meat department before everything went to plastic and styrofoam.

This stuff is great. I've had the best meat ever since I started using it. I coupled it with a dispenser I found here on Amazon, and I have no tearing/ripping problems at all, it so handy to use with bloody/contaminated hands, and it is of such great long-term protection, I cannot stop gushing about it. Don't buy those piddly rolls in the dept store, buy this if you're serious about freezing meat, because it is the best I've found in many, many years.

when the package arrived, the roll was missing an end cap for the holder. they sent out another and said UPS would pick up the first roll. when the replacement roll arrived and UPS still had not picked up the first roll I sent out an inquiry. They mistakenly thought they had not replaced the first roll and sent out yet another roll. now I have 3 rolls! I think a local charity or school can use the extras!

This paper is excellent! I've been buying freezer paper from "one of leading sporting good stores" for quite a few years but never again unless they start selling this paper.
