This works for what it's intended, but I wish products like these came with instructions on each part instead of having to research everything.

I had to replace some brass saps on some vintage military gear. I tried some other tools, but could not get it done. I bought this to see if it would work. After studying all the tools briefly, I was able to use a combination of the included tools to accomplish the repair. The tools are all well made and sturdy. The finish on everything is good.

I've been using this little kit to set some 5mm rivets. Be warned, there are no instructions included in the kit, so you'll have to do some research/ experimentation on your own. You should practice first before you do it on whatever project you have going.I watched a video where a guy was showing how to set rivets and the posts he had had little concave bottoms to hold double faced rivets. The ones in this kit don't have that, they have a hole that I assume is to accommodate snaps. So what I did was set the rivet in the appropriate divet on the anvil, snap the opposite rivet on, take the grommet anvil and place the concave side down on the rivet, place the largest post over the center of the grommet anvil, and hammer down. I don't know if that's how you're supposed to use this, but it worked for me to set double sided rivets. Hope this helps anyone struggling.

It’s totally worth buying an arbor press with attachments I used these but it’s so easy to ruin snaps and get very frustrated it’s worth the investment to just get a press

I have tried a couple and so far this is the best one and it's super affordable. It comes with different size anvils and different sizes for the back of the rivets. (I am completely new to rivets and the terminology). It also comes with different size hole punches as well... How cool? I am extremely happy and grateful to have this set in my collection. Highly recommend this item especially for newbies like me.

This set is great except I can't get it to work on 8mm snaps I bought it for!!!! Setting plate goes down to 6mm so I thot it would set the small snaps!! But not!!

I bought this kit to use to make holes and install the D-links I bought separately. I’ve used it four times and it’s been great. It can be awkward getting the rivet setter in the right location, but worked fine as long as I took my time.

I used this kit to try to set some solid copper rivets. I was disappointed and surprised to find that the punches themselves bent and deformed BEFORE the copper rivets did. To be clear, steel should always be harder than copper. I'm not sure what metal the punches are made from, but it isn't up to the task - perhaps it isn't even steel. I would suggest purchasing a different item for this purpose.
