Love this trash can. Was hesitant because it’s pretty inexpensive for having motion detection open/close, but I haven’t had any problems yet. Looks good, no dents or anything, came packaged well. Easy to put together, just put the C batteries in the top compartment, put the trash bag in with the plastic ring it came with to hold it in place, and put the top on. Works perfectly. I was mildly irritated at the big sticker that’s on the inside of the lid because it wouldn’t come off cleanly so I’ll need to get something to take it off, and I wish it had come with batteries, but for the price I can’t complain.

The battery life is impressive. Ironically the batteries almost lasted longer than the trash can. The lid started to malfunction last few days. New batteries didn't help. Took it apart and found motor and arm mechanism was heavily rusted from moisture of the trash I assume. The solder joints and wiring are very small, surprised it lasted this long I guess. Unfortunate to replace a good trash can because the lid no longer functions properly.
