I love this belt during heavy lifts or back day. it helps stabilize my back and I can bear the load versus no belt also it helps prevent injury. The padding is a nice touch so you have some lumbar support. Very good quality material.

I'm an amateur deadlifter (weigh140#, max around 350#), and have shied away from belts in the past, thinking it was better to concentrate on form and not rely on a "crutch". I've had a bit of back pain lately while lifting though, and thought I might try a little support: this belt is attractive, seems sturdy, and I like the narrower section at the sides and front. I have only squatted with it once, but it was comfortable, I felt more planted, and I had no back pain. I wear 31"-32" waist pants, and measure 33" at the belly button; I picked the Medium, and I buckle it right in the middle of the range of adjustment, so I made the right call there.

The material seems to be high quality, but it is hard to get the belt tight enough to my liking. I thought I would like the cushion on the inside but it makes the belt seem loose no matter how much I tighten it even with help. I still have 4 stars because I feel that the belt is made well but just doesnΓ’β¬β’t work for me.

Backstory:I have some serious spine issues after injury and 2 surgeries. Developed scoliosis in bothe directions: side to side & back to front. Degenerated discs so vertebrae slip when I move.Results:Tried multiple lumbar braces. All too flexible.Last resort used a 40 yo flat 4Γ’β¬Β leather weight belt. Helped some. Awaiting lumbar injections. Trying to avoid another surgery.Ordered this.MUCH BETTER with this belt.Wide w terrific lumbar support given the circumstances. Initially stiff to buckle but very sturdy so just push.Imagine its great for its intended purpose as well,lol.

Well made, very stiff but comfortable. Going to take a while to fully break in which you may or may not like. Lumbar section is padded. Runs on the small size. I have a 33" waist and in the large size I only have 2 holes left. It may also stretch out a bit with usage. Quite happy with quality and workmanship. Would buy again, good value.

Buy a size up it was very small couldnΓ’β¬β’t even get it to the first hole and I bought a size up the leather is nice but may need to be beat in for extra comfort

I got this because it was only slightly more expensive than nylon belts on Amazon and I donΓ’β¬β’t really like those.But this belt is genuine leather and really high quality, does what itΓ’β¬β’s supposed to when it comes to supporting your back and protecting it on heavy lifts.Has definitely saved me from several injuries after having it for a few months now.The belt is also very comfortable as itΓ’β¬β’s made of very high quality materials.Only thing is since itΓ’β¬β’s real leather itl take a bit of use to break in but thatΓ’β¬β’s natural with any leather weightlifting belt.
