This is a great product to keep warm while walking the dog on a cold winter day. The medium heat setting was more than enough to keep warm when the temperature outside was in the low 20s with a bit of wind. The wind chill was in the single digits.I would have rated this vest as 5 stars except it fits way small. I normally wear a XL jacket, so I ordered a XXL vest figuring I would need to go a size up to wear the vest over a long sleeve shirt. I had to return the XXL vest as I could not get it to zip up. I reordered a 3XL and it fits fine.UPDATE: I downloaded the app and it works great. Very easy to control the warmth by section of the vest.

My teenage son wears this almost daily fall/winter time. After a year it still works perfect, it does run small so size up.

I live in Minnesota. We had a pretty cold week of -5F with wind chill down to -27F. We also have an 8 month old pup that needs to go out every couple of hours. I bought us both some gear to prep for this, including the vest for myself.The vest gets a little warm. It doesn’t get hot. I timed how long it would take to get up to full heat and it was about 10 minutes, so it’s not worth it to put it on before taking the dog out. The quality of the vest itself is nice but it’s not something I would ever wear as part of a normal outfit. The heat is localized in a few spots around the vest instead of all over, which I knew but surprisingly disliked more than I expected.I think someone may like this product for walks in above-freezing temps or if they were going to be outside for a very long time sitting, like a hunter in a tree stand. But for me personally, I found having a few places on my body being slightly warm is worse than nothing at all. It’s like sitting by the warm jets of a pool instead of letting your body adjust to the temperature of the water. Idk if that makes sense but I’ll be returning my vest and just wearing extra layers on the coldest days we have.

Space heated vest are amazing. Used it on last fishing tournament helped keep me warm during early hours . I would highly recommend this item
