Was so excited to try these, because the HS ones can be hard to use. I was playing with it while I walked through the house to put it on my prong collar, and it broke before I even got there. The side pieces got stuck closed so it wouldn’t latch. Cheap garbage.

I was a fan for the first day. My 50lb dog did not even pull on the leash and the buckle broke off…my dog got away due to this faulty buckle. Would not recommend

I use prong collars on my dogs. They're Service Dogs and despite all their training in the end they're still dogs. Since mine is a mobility dog, she's also very large.The biggest challenge as anyone who uses them knows is getting them on the dogs. Even the ones with the hooks on them can be hard when my arthritic hands act up.This is a game changer because now I can have an easy to use buckle without having to buy a new collar. I sure could have used this a few years ago, just glad to have it now.

The clip seemed a little wonky after a week or two but I gave it a good pull and it didn’t come loose so I thought maybe that’s just how it worked. It’s not. It fully broke tonight and my dog was off into the snowy night. He is only a year old and that taste of freedom just took over. He is also obsessed with snow so yeah… the clasp broke, he was off, and this review is lucky it was trash night and something caught his attention in our neighbors trashcan. Between that and a handful of treats I was able to get him and now that my fingers have warmed up my first stop was to post this review.

We had a different clap go bad on a training collar for our dog, so we got this to replace it. It's solid, heavy and it definitely will not accidentally release itself. Remember, these are not break away collars and your dog can gravely injure themselves on a training collar, so only use it while training and supervising the dog.

Cheap metal, can tell it will easily break. Also you cannot attach the hooks on both sides unless you buy a double sided prong clip or a clip that makes the prongs all go the same direction.

The buckle clicks on super loose and doesn't latch the first time every time. If you don't double and triple check to make sure that it doesn't come off it can easily go on crooked, not hook properly and come off the first time you pull on it.It went on the prong collar easily though.
