As soon as I brought it out and stacked the layers, my new pup took to using it as a sort of bed/hangout spot. I’m trying to get her to pee on it because she goes in the grass 95% of the time, so I figured it would be an easy transition. I’ll take blame upon myself though, because this is my first pup and I’m not an expert at training. The sprays that they sell for marking where your dog should go aren’t working for her at all.She’ll jump off the turf and onto her expensive bed right next to it and pee right in front of me, full eye contact and everything… but she has never once done it on the turf.With that said, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the product I purchased. I am extremely happy with it, and the fact that she prizes it so much goes a long way to tell me how the dog feels about many features of the product. The ‘grass’ is soft and comfy to sit/lay on. I thought it would be uncomfortable to walk on with the solid/liquid separator poking up with hundreds of nubs, but it’s like it’s not even there at all. It’s well made and I definitely feel like it’s going to last for as long as I want it to. There are 2 turf pads in the package, so I was already preparing to be switching them out every couple days to hose off, but at her current size, even if she took every bathroom break on it, the whole setup could last several days (sans the poop) without the smell being noticeable, especially if you use dog litter in the bottom. I mainly just need it for her emergencies when I can’t let her out fast enough, or later on in her life when something like the weather would prevent her from going outside.Definitely worth what I paid, and I recommend it.

This product seems to be well made. The edge is bound all the way around. There is also a buffer piece that keeps the artificial grass up and away from urine that seems thru. Binder clips to keep the grass in place. My dog has not used it yet but I think he will when he needs it. He doesn't like the rain so it sits on my porch until he needs it.

Our dog hates the rain and so do we so this works perfect on our deck that is covered. Our dog still prefers to use the grass but this is perfect for rainy days when we don't want to go all the way outside. It was easy to clean the bottom pieces we just pulled them out front and hosed them off. It did come with 2 of the green mats so you can alternate between cleanings. I don't think I would use it in the house because I could see how in an enclosed area this would start to smell pretty quickly. The green mat is thick and absorbant but takes forever to dry after you wash it with the hose.

If she would only use it. It will take her some getting used to, but i have to say this item is perfect! The larger size tray, insert that keeps the grass elevated off the tray, the high quality of the grass mats....TWO grass mats!When it arrived damaged from the shipping, I was so upset, but this seller immediately responded to my needs replacing it as soon as possible.I cannot express how much I appreciate the seller's attention to my needs, and the quality of their product!Thank you!

I did not even open this product and noticed the box was damaged. When I did attempt to open the box I noticed the tray was cracked and the area exposed smelled like urine! This product was clearly used and returned, I received a used, damaged product! I’m disappointed in the quality control

I bought this contraption, albeit I was skeptical about it, but it turned out to be one of the best purchases I made for my buddy. He was just a small puppy when I got it. I got the larger one because I figured if he used it at all he had a better chance of hitting the pad. We all know how guy's are. Anyway, it took a little coaxing at first, but my buddy got used to it. I put it in the bathroom out of the way as much as possible and he used it until he got old enough he actually house broke himself. He started going to the door on his own. I still keep it down for him to use at night if he needs it, or when I have to go some place for a few hours. I clean it regularly, but I put a light coat of non scented kitty litter in the bottom and sprinkle a box of baking soda over that (not on the grassy pad). It helps keep the smell down between cleanings.

It’s so absorbent and can be used for several days outside before cleaning. I’m disabled and I can’t bend. So I have to wait for help and this has been a lifesaver. The grass itself absorbs but doesn’t keep urine at top. The tray is rarely wet itself and no pee filled paw prints like the cheaper brands. It’s cleaned every five days and it doesn’t stink and she doesn’t have a problem stepping in it at all.I will say that every dog is different so please don’t base your reviews off how your dog reacts to the product. My dog is use to going potty on a mat. If your dog is use to grass or pads it will take some practice.
