I bought this to fit the matching Glad puppy pads. While it does what it’s meant to do (holding the pad in place so the puppy cannot chew it up), it needs to be about 1/2 inch bigger all around because the pads have a folded edge that don’t completely fit under the frame. Great concept and I continue to use it regardless

Came so late, I already had my refund (Thank you Amazon) when the package arrived, the merchandise was in pieces. I have no idea if it is worth the $$. Did not reorder.

It holds a dog pee pad holder of the standard size (like the Amazon brand ones) so that my pup doesn't mess with the pads. Took a while before my pup got used to the pads but now my pup pees or poops on it without messing the pads thanks to the holder. It is light and so far sturdy. I wish the top unit can stand itself, but it is a minor complaint.

UPDATE: Soooo, it wasn’t long before my pup figured out he can still rip up the pads, even if they are in this. I think it definitely helps, he tends to only rip them up when nobody is around. He goes for the corners and gets them loose from the cover and then rips them. My pads are slightly smaller than the Glad brand by about an inch or two, so maybe if you have the Glad pads, they won’t show as much of the border of the pee pad, which seems to be what attracts my pup. Overall, I still use them and they are helpful because at least now he can’t drag the pads, I just have to vigilant and make sure he isn’t ripping them. When he is in his playpen alone, I remove it so he doesn’t get into it.As a first time puppy owner, there are a lot of things that I didn’t expect, but luckily Amazon has me covered!!! One of those being that my puppy started to rip up and drag around his pee pads. Because of this, I switched from the disposable pee pads to the fake turf kind. My pup still figured out a way to rip the turf out of them (& eat it) which obviously wasn’t good and couldn’t go on. Plus, no matter how much you clean them or what you use to clean them, they smell soooo bad!! So, back to square 1. That’s when I found this pee pad holder and it is a game changer!!! My pup now uses his pee pads for what they are intended for. I like that the edges are raised, as it helps him to stay “in bounds.†It looks better as well compared to just having the pee pads down. I came back and bought a second one to put in his playpen!!

Living in Ottawa it gets too cold in the winter for my chihuahua to go out for the bathroom. It keeps the pad it place with locking mechanism. It takes some practice to mark the spot of peeing INSIDE of it lol but eventually he got the hang of it.
