This is a great tool. It works great. I have large dogs with large talon like nails and it is a chore to trim them. They hate having it done. This is quite, like it says it is. The bit seems to really get the job done quickly while I am having to sit on top of my dogs. It stays charged long enough to do all of my dogs. It's a powerful little thing but not so much that it burns them like a Dremel. The clippers work really well as well. I took the guard and the lock off because they will lock down. Holding the dog down and trying to unlock it one handed is a real challenge. The light is extremely helpful. And it is purple. Couldn't be any better. Thumbs up from me. I got all 5 dogs done in about an hour which is improvement. Usually takes days. They weren't so happy and felt violated but it is done.

My dog hates it but she’s also very picky and spoiled and will continue to try !! It works very well tho and like that comes with different heads

This was a pleasant surprise in that the "grinder" rotating snad-paper like trimmer wheel is quiet and very efficient, so efficient I think Amazon needs to look at this for old, disabled, people - like me - who have terrible experiences trying to cut toe-nails so you can put on compression socks or any basic leg ware. To get a pedicure from even the most proficient salons is excruciatingly painful even from an experienced person. Trying to trim your own feet is very difficult and usually ends up cutting into the toes whch requires days to heal. Going for ingrown toe-nail repair work means weeks in a cast or wraps keeping you from excercising or using a pool. So my old dog and I, two old Marine dogs, can share this device as we are by ourselves in care and have to find all kinds of alternative tools and methods. Amazon helps a lot because they can get you products in days while the VA and medical programs take weeks. Nail trimming is essential for all old dogs - K-9 and human, so this product really opened my eyes and provided me with a great relief of pain all while helping me trim nasty grown toes from my dog who is passing 17 now.

My dogs HATE getting their nails done and I e gone thru so many grinders and trimmers and none have worked.This one really is quieter than most with less vibration.I was actually able to work on dogs nails and them not cry or shake uncontrollably.

I have a dachshund and I have always trimmed his nails myself since he came to live here at 8 weeks old. He was several years old before I tried him out with a nail grinder, but he took to it nicely. His old one was not keeping a charge to well anymore, so I found this one with accessories included for replacing the old one.These are so easy to use. I usually use the clipper that is included with the set to trim the nails to the length I want for him and then use the grinder to smooth away all the sharpness a fresh clipping leaves on the nails. This set includes the nail clipper, 3 grinding wheels of varying hardness, a charging cable, a drawstring pouch for storing it all, and of course the grinder. The grinder has 3 speeds and two LED lights to help with seeing so as to not get the nails too short. The grinder always has a digital display to show how much charge is left of the battery. The lights have a button to turn them on / off as needed.All around, this grinder with the accompanying accessories is quite nice, works very well and I can certainly recommend it. There is a 2 year warranty for the grinder.

Works great! One of my dogs has black nails so trimming is scary. This grinder works great, is super quiet, and my dogs don't mind the feeling of it too much. Wear a mask while you grind though!!

I haven't had a chance to use yet. I received the first one without the extra grinder bits. The replacement arrived but again missing the pieces.I love that this comes with a nail clipper and electric file. The file has a light on it to assist with seeing the quick with dark nails, so that's a plus. Came with dust cover and usb charger wire (no wall box).
