HOW TO USE THE PRIMENS NAIL GRINDER

Wait, wait. Don’t rush to trimming the dog’s nails right away. Let your pooch get accustomed to the new object. I purchased this specific nail trimmer for my nail shy labordore/Queensland Healer mix because the other, well-known, brand named nail grinders was not doing the job. My "boy" would not allow me to use these other brands on his nails at all. I admit, at first, I ignored his nail growth, up until I had no other alternative except to face up to his challenge as to how I would be able to trim his nails? Since nail trims via the Vet or Groomer cost extra money, and because he would snap to warn me, I resolved the nail trimming challenge would be up to me to remedy. I also did get a muzzle too as he would snap at me, just as to warn me, not harm me, to let me know that he did not agree with my trimming his nails. After searching, finally I saw this trimmer.Why I purchased this trimmer. 1) It's smaller size allows me to better manupliate the trimmer to adjust to better trimming his nails and trims have become much easier with this trimmer other than the other two nail trimmers I previously purchased. 2) Although I still use a flash light to allow the best viewing of his nails as possible, the feature of the attached light is wonderful to help assure you are grinding the proper area of the dog's nail. 3) It is easy to recharge. The charger's cord is added to the same charging plug as my phone and it keeps it's charge very well. 4) the plastic cap that the grinding tool has allows two options to aide in grinding the nails along with the ability to remove the entire cap. This plastic cap has two openings which allows a better focus on the areas of the nail that you would want to grind. 5) It is light weight, easy to handle, not a very loud sound to the motor which has proven to be quite helpful in my quest to trim my dog's nails. 6) Yes, I would recommend this nail grinder highly, and, would buy this again, if need be. This has not only proven to be a handy and helpful tool, I have been successful with the trimming of my skittish dog's fear of nail trims as to where he does not snap at me to warn me, (not bite me), and, he now has begun to trust our nail trimming sessions much better, and seems to show that he has no major issue with the trimmings; he is also showing happiness after the nail trims as I am certain, with his shorter nails, the more comfort he feels whenever he is walking, standing, etc. definately is showing through his positive walking, standing, etc., behaviors.

I have had this nail grinder for a year and I am grateful for it. My 12 year old pupper hates nail trims and always has. I've never accidentally clipped her quick or hurt her but nonetheless she is terrified of having her nails clipped and will bite. She wasn't a fan at first but quickly got use to it and I don't have to fight her anymore. It's quiet and easy to use. The guards and light are great because you can see the quick so there are no mishaps. The only thing issue to be conscious of is overheating when the grinder is in use for too long as this can hurt. I highly recommend this!

My wife, a retired professional pet and show dog stylist, needed a nail grinder to accompany her nail trimmers. We have an English Bulldog puppy whose nails grow really quickly. Bulldogs are evidently notorious for not liking the nails clipped, per my wife and the numerous bulldog people she knows. My wife however has started many a puppy on the right path to actually looking forward to a little nail pampering.This nail grinder is surprisingly quiet. I was afraid the noise would scare my boy. My wife started it up and rubbed it all over his body with the tip cover on. Within a few minutes my puppy was accepting and comfortable with my wife picking up a paw, grinder cover still on, and rubbing it all over his paws. With in ten minutes she had his nails buffed up.My pup ran over to me afterwards and jumped up on my and his nails were smooth unlike guillotine style trimmers that leave the nails ruff and splintery. We opened the grinder up and see the sanding wheel. Again pleasantly surprised, it is a quality piece; it can also be changed out once worn out.It charges fast and stores in a small space. It’s not bulky at all like the nail grinders of the past. Ergonomic and easy to hold: my wife has nerve damage and her hands cannot take any over exertion. She reports that the grinder fits in the hand perfectly; I can attest it fits in all size hands as my wife and I have size differences and I found this nail grinder easy to hold. It also only took a couple of hours to fully charge.It’s especially nice to not have cords and a decent rechargeable battery for such a well priced nail grinder. We both would highly recommend this item.

My dog has thick macaroni nails and is extremely afraid of the sound of nail clippers, so it was impossible to trim his nails at home. I felt bad because it seemed like he'd go too long between trims sometimes, so I bought this nail grinder. It took a little while for him to get used to it, and sometimes he still freaks out, but I've been able to work with him and can now trim 1 whole paw before he needs a break. The light and dust cover are great as well since they help you to see where the quick is and captures some of the nail dust.Some reviews said this grinder isn't highly powered enough, and that was also my first impression since the regular setting was too weak to grind his thick nails down. I even almost returned the thing. However, I discovered this grinder has 2 nail settings - regular and supercharged. To get to the supercharged setting that works on big dog nails, just turn the grinder on and then click up once more.For the price, this is an excellent nail grinder. I've had it for over a year and it's paid for itself and is still going strong. I would highly recommend this nail grinder!

I have 2 Italian Greyhounds, 3.5 yrs and 1.5 yrs old. The youngest was too small and the older one would run away, so I've always had to go to vet or groomer.I couldn't use clippers and the dremel I had used batteries & wasn't strong enough. Also confusing which sa d paper to use.All the above disappeared when I got this dremel.It's quiet, has a longtime grinder instead of the sand paper and the light is perfect! I don't use any of the guards on this instrument. I find it easier to just use the sander with the light on the nail I'm working on. So, first, I took them to the groomer to get their nails done one final time. Then I left it a couple of days and then do a few seconds on each nail every couple of days.It works like a charm, I'm no longer afraid of hurting the pups and I'm saving so much money!

This is the best nail trimmer I’ve tried. We have 2 Rhodesian ridgebacks that hate getting their nails trimmed. But I can do it with this. It’s super quiet but effective and the light is very helpful
