Compares favorably to Chris Christianson slicker brushes. Nice long pins that don't hurt the dog. Comfortable handle. Does a great job on my Standard Poodles.

This grooming brush has its spindles or tines at different angles instead of just vertical, and does a much better job with working through poodle coats than my prior less expensive, vertical tine brush did. The comb has a nice weight to it and is super helpful in removing hair from the brush plus grooming closer to the face and top of the head. Glad I made this purchase and will recommend to other family members!

Just as good as a Chris Christensen for a lot less money works very well on doodles and poodles. I’m a dog groomer and I was happy with the quality of the brush.

Was recommended by our groomer. Works as described but it seems to be our dog’s least favorite brush.

My doodle LOVES this brush! It was bought because we lost her other, more expensive, one traveling. This one does a FANTASTIC JOB! It untangles her long tail hair so much easier than the other brush. The large comb is great too.

I have 3 Havanese pups. Their hair is "cottony" and a little bit curly. I was using a slicker brush with little plastic balls on the tips of the tynes, thinking that was better for their skin. But. The problem was that the tynes were too short and were never even getting down to the skin in the first place! Naturally as a result their hair matted close to the skin, but still looked brushed on the ends of the hairs, if that makes sense. I started shopping for a new brush. I almost fell over at the ridiculous prices! So, I compared everything and selected this brush. It has a nice wooden handle, the tynes are secure, very long, angled, and not scratchy-sharp. The instant I started brushing, those matts started loosening up, their hair looked mega fluffy and...get this... they all fell asleep while I was brushing them. WHAT?! My one Havanese who is terribly full of anxiety, laid down without restraints and just loved being brushed. So so strange for him! I thought he was ill at first. But then when the other 2 also fell asleep during the brushing, I knew it was the brush. Crazy! I love this! Get one!

My dog does not like when I brush him, but this brush is very smooth and doesn’t hurt him at all. Plus it’s easy to hold and the grip is amazing.
