It’s not very stable and it constantly moves when my dog goes on it. It might work better with carpet, but not on wood floors. However, I still think it’s too soft to be effective as stairs

This works for my little puppy who has learned how to use the steps so she can jump up on the bed...the fabric fits a bit looser than in the pictures on line...but other than that it looks the same in person as in pictures...it is sturdy not tippy and my puppy just zips up and down from the bed like she has wings...she loves it...she learned how to use it immediately...no learning curve here...I am very happy I purchased it...

Ordered the stairs and the dogs loved it. Ordered a 2nd one for upstairs and it had different foam inside and wouldn’t form into steps sent it back and Ordered a 3rd one and it still wouldn’t form into steps. ☹ï¸
