Perfect for our 2 year old fur baby! She's a rescue, mixed with Boxer & pit I believe, & can't chew threw the cable. Excellent to take around places & easy to latch onto items without fear of the line breaking. Excellent product!!

My girl is a 8 month old standard poodle named Autumn. She is spoiled and very attached to me. So much so, that she wants to be EVERYWHERE I am. I was tired of poop all over the yard, and her destroying my things in the garden so I gave her a designated area with a tie out I bought from Walmart. It proved to be too long, she kept tangling herself in the cord, she attempted several times to escape and chewed up the cord. I realized a shorter, stronger cord was necessary and this one does the trick!! It is cute in color, strong yet flexible so she roams freely within her domain, comes with a large and sturdy lock on each end and has already held up to her many escape antics lol will definitely purchase again when time to replace. One thing though: this one also tangles if your fur baby is a wiz like mine. It hasn’t gotten crazy tangled though and I think that has to do with the actual length of the cord.

I've gone through 5 or more cables. Each one claiming to be strong enough to support 150 or more pounds. My dog is about 55 pounds and keeps breaking them (some within days of using). She can jump a 6 foot fence so we have no choice but to attach her to a runner. (Which she also broke 3 or 4 times till we finally enforced it enough at the weak points.)After getting the runner fixed up, she kept breaking the cables. Usually at the clip points where it connects to the collar. She would literally bend them to where they no longer closed. This one is amazing! It's noticeably thicker in both the cord and the metal clasp. I love that it screws up over the clasp to add that extra durability when connecting it to the collar. If you have a strong and or high energy dog that you need to keep safe by using a cable, this is the one you want to get.

I bought the 10foot length for my pit that pulls hard and serious almost 70 lbs. I actually use the leash to attach her to my mobility scooter. It is more heavy duty than other ones I've tried. The plastic coating is thick. I will definitely buy again if I need another one. She will pull with it but doesnt get far. I dont use the included clasps though I have one more heavy duty for her. This one has held up longer than others I've tried so I'm very pleased.

My 60 pound Husky snapped it in less than 5 months. I replaced the carabiner early on because of a burr that was cutting our hands on the lock screw. No big deal. Cable breaking is a big deal. Like many Huskies my dog loves being outside and likes to pull hard and run harder. If the Cable breaks he likes to run for the sake of running and roads and highways nearby are hilly with lots of curves and hard to see animals in time...very dangerous. Liked the swivels and locking carabiner. Past cables would tangle and break, or he would roll around and open the spring latch and escape. Other cables would break at the loop and detach from the hardware. So, not a bad product... my dog is probably among the more difficult to keep tied out.

Spring is far too stiff, and parts are already rusting.Adding a spring was always going to be more gimmick than functional anyway, so whatever. And the rust is partially my fault for keeping it outside permanently and not coating it in something first. Moderately reflective. The carabiner came apart somehow while my dog was outside and I can't find the pieces, so now it's worthless and outside the return window by 4 days...

My nine month old Cane Corso was able to snap the line very easily. The cable upon examination was and is very cheap.Even the plastic cover covering the cable cracked.
