I have a swing set for the grand kids out back and the standard nylon lined hinges that come with them wore out quickly every time I replaced them. These are very smooth and quite, I lubed them with white lithium grease and they are showing no wear.

We've been having alot of trouble with keeping my daughters swings together. She also uses it ALOT more than average child does! She was wearing down all the metal any place it meets and grinds together! I've never actually seen an like that before! We bought these in hopes of avoiding that issue in the future. They worked and stayed together longer than any else so far! We DID end up having an issue on one side where the barring got stuck or something and the metal all wore down again. But I'm pretty sure the malfunction was user error, as I noticed a gasket was missing on the side that malfunctioned. We're 100% going to get a new set in the spring now that I think I discovered exactly what the problem was this time. I recommend these to anyone in need. I will update my review after using the new set for a while. Thank you.

under inspection these are great!Using them for multiple swing attachments along a twelve foot 4x4 swing beam needed something to stand up against my monster kids lolPerfect for there intended use I’ll post a further review on how they have faired up being put together and how they are in regards to my kids use but so far they are spot on
