I beleave this was a good toilet to purchase. It seems really well built for being a rv toilet. I bought this after trying to fix my old toilet witch i did fix intill the same part i replaced started leaking again. So after that i decided to just replace the whole toilet since i had the short toilet in my camper any way. I like how quit it flushes and i also like the slow closing toilet seat. It was real easy to install the only thing i had to change was my routeing for my water line. But if your think of upgrading i would recommend doing so.

So far so good! It’s a great size and functions really well. Just know that we replaced our RV Thedford toilet, and the water hose was too long to fit this new toilet. It was no big deal to cut it down, but we didn’t know at first and had to go buy the correct tool for it. We’ve had the toilet for about a month now and we are very happy with it. It’s really comfortable for women and men…..if you know what I mean. 😜

Overall an improvement from our original toliet. Clean design, easy to install, work great for first month but recently stopped holding water in the bowl. No amount of fiddling with the gasket has improved things. I will try a new gasket soon but feel like it should last longer than 1 month.

We use this toilet as a replacement for a Thetford toilet that we had replaced twice. The reviews on the Dometic were wonderful. And we went by those reviews and purchased the Dometic RV toilet. I love it! It flushes very quietly, does a very good clean job of it, has a wonderful seal against smell and very comfortable.

My existing Dometic toiled in the RV had developed a crack in the bowl and was leaking water so I purchased this replacement Dometic which seems to be identical except for the wooden, slow closing toiled seat. Swap in and swap out, very easy installation. Definitely a quality, even though pricey, product.
