Because it’s blank, you can put your lock in non-standard places. But other than bed frame iron, this is the hardest stuff I have worked on. My hole saw had drilled dozens of holes in regular steel doors with no problems. It barely made a shallow groove in this wrap around before becoming useless. A fresh Milwaukee saw dulled quickly and still didn’t make it through. I eventually had to use a grinder to make the hole.

Doubled up on expensive door.Have 24" of coverage and no scratches from supermodel wifes cats. Well made and on my door they fit perfect.

I received this packaged in a sealed box however this has been used and repackaged. I will make it work because I need to move forward with the repair but I am thoroughly disappointed!

Went to put on my front door which is 1/32" thinner than 1 3/4". There was a 1/8" to 3mm gap. Measured the reinforcer and found it 1 13/16". Too wide for door. Description clearly says 1 3/4". Went to put on my garage to house door that is 1/32" thicker than 1 3/4". Fit very well, but the bend on one side was slightly greater than 90 degrees so it stuck out a little (found both to be like that). I don't have the tools to improve the bend so I returned both.
