combined review for 2 products, used together. I recommend both of these products, and I recommend using them together.I live in an apartment complex. The management has been known to break and enter, busting the secondary lock to get in, can't afford to move at the moment, so went looking for lock things to keep management out when they don't give the legally required notice for peaceable entry. This combo worked recently when they gave pest control the complex keys and didn't tell anyone that pest control was coming. Security Bar - Heavy Duty Door Jammer Security Bar - Adjustable Sliding Door Security Bar - Door Stoppers Security Bar for Patio, Window, Front Door Apartment, Home, Hotel Room2- after putting the Lok N Block on the lock, I put this Door security bar in place, lightly kicking it into place, so that IF someone were to try and unlock the door, and then thinking that the door should be unlocked try and kick the door in and actually do enough damage to break the deadbolt hole part in the frame, this bar will then keep the door closed. or else the bar keeps enough pressure on the door to prevent the door from being kicked in. I don't know but it works. This Door Security Bar has an anchor foot that swivels so that it is exactly at the angle it needs to be once you adjust it to proper length.very easy to put on the Lok N Block and then the Door Security Bar. First put the Lok N Blok, and then slide the Door Security Bar into place and lightly kick the lower part of the bar to secure it.

This is exactly what I needed to sleep peacefully. I am a woman who lives alone and because my door is metal I couldn't add extra locks. This gives me complete peace of mind. I even had my neighbor test it out by pushing as hard as he could against the open door, and it held up. This is a perfect extra defense for much-needed peace of mind.The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it's poorly constructed. There are two tubes and you insert one in the other and there's nothing really to keep the tubes connected. When you lift the top tube it pops right out of the base. Makes it a pain in the ass to move it around. I fixed this by using packaging tape to connect them.

I hope I never have to find out how well these work but from what I can assess, they stay put well and are slip resistant. The tension is strong with an additional key support (I guess as further assurance? I haven't figured it out.) Important to keep in mind-- this won't work on a door mat or rug of any sort and would defeat the purpose, of course.

We bought a set for a good friend who lives in an older style apartment with older doors to help give them some extra secuirty, they are slip resistant and functionality is perfect. They’re easy to use. The thickness of the bar is great and our friend feels much better have this extra layer of security.
