The wires that come with the packaging allow testing of the bulb by connecting to the back of the package. They could also be used to retrofit some fixture that needed the clips that secure the ends of the bulb. This bulb fits and looks good in my 1981 corvette. One unexpected benefit, there is a slight glow from the bulb at night. Apparently there is a slight amount of current flowing through this circuit. The old bulb did not light up from this slight current. The new bulb glows enough to see it but not enough to hurt your night driving. The glow cannot be seen in the daytime. When the door is open, the light is much brighter than the old bulb.

Didn't work in trunk of 2006 Mustang. I tried reversing the bulb, but all it does is light for a moment and then go out. I'm sure it works in some applications, but not mine. I found the VLEDS 1pc 280lm and it works fine.

The preview image does not show wiring as presented in packaging. There are copper "C-Shaped" cuffs around the tips of each bulb end. Each cuff is connected to a loose wire. At first glance at packaging, it appears as if the bulbs required a hard-wire installation. They do not. Gently slide the copper cuffs off the bulb tips. If the need to remove the copper cuffs off the bulb tips prior to installation was more clearly identified, I'd rate product a 5 star. I removed the cuffs, installed the bulb and it looks great!

Worked perfect for my 1979 corvette. Ordering another for the camaro. The wires included are NOT soldered. They're to fit other applications.

This item is BS. When you receive it, it will have 2 wires soldered to the end. What are those for and why do they not show in the picture.
