When I bought these little things for my 99 chevy silverado truck I was very skeptical for these rubber things stopping the clunking sounds of a loose tailgate.. but was I wrong, they do stop the clunking of the tailgate and it works. Granted it is a little pricey for some little piece of rubber but they fit just right and very easy installation. My tailgate didn't have them so I was like lets see then I took the truck through the roughest terrain I know in my town and man it didn't even rattle once.

These are much smaller than I pictured! They fit perfectly, but somehow I thought they would be larger. They fit my truck tailgate perfectly and work great as a bump stop when I close the tailgate. The tailgate can be adjusted a little and the metal tabs these mount to can be bent slightly to adjust them also. Great product.

Took all of 10 seconds to change these out on a truck with 94K miles on my 2006 GMC Sierra. Easy cheap preventative maintenance that prevents tailgate from rattling

I had no idea these were missing on my truck but over time they apparently get bumped or dried out I guess. Helped with tailgate fit and reduces rattling. Takes about 15 seconds to install both.

Works as OEM, mine were missing, and these closed the gap to make the tailgate close quieter, more solid feel, and less play, should have ordered much sooner, just slightly higher price, but less than dealer
