Worked fine: replacing wiring harness through differential case was a challenge. I had corrosion/rust and had to wire brush bore. I used some fluid film to lubricate harness and bore.

Rear differential on my QD2 Jeep WK was shuddering when it was cold, I first changed the oil and the additive and no luck... Ordered this and upon removing the old one I realized it was stuck slightly closed, upon further investigation this is a common mode of failure for these actuators. Installed the new one, issue went away immediately and hasn't returned. For testing sake I did put it into 4LO which locks the front and rear differentials and did some tight turns, they locked up and released as expected.

I have a 2005 jeep grand Cherokee limited and my service 4 wheel drive light and service my electronic brakes light plus front end was binding up .SO after a process of elimination changed this part and wham lights are off and no more binding..This part works great............

Installed without any problems and worked perfectly restoring the rear differential locking and eliminated the DTC error on the dash.

This worked great in my father in-laws 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Opened up the front diff cover to find the OEM one had a broken wire. Replaced it with the new Dorman one and it got rid of the "service 4wd" message on the dash.

Tested from under the rear seat both front and rear solenoid circuits to find the front was open circuit. I did a loop at the diff plug and it proved the wiring was fine. So i purchased this kit and opened the front diff cover to find the plug that attaches to the solenoid had completely corroded off the solenoid. Yeha! easy fix swapped over the solenoid and new harness into the housing. Now works perfectly.
