I could not use this product. It would not work in the truck. several attempts by the mechanic to install just delayed the time for return.

It fit just fine but if you are adding it for the 1st time you have to have dealer enabled it or me it will show a fault

Works very well but does not have a delay feature like some aftermarket units .. it integrates well with the dash display.

I'm not sure why, but it didn't work on our F550. It plugged in perfectly. We had a Ford dealership program it, but we couldn't get it to activate trailer brakes. Assumed it was an issue with the truck, so we worked on our truck for parts of two days trying to get it to work. Took it to 2 local, trusted mechanics and then eventually took it back to Ford and they finally installed original Ford part and it now it works perfectly. So for whatever reason, this aftermarket Brake Controller didn't work. I can't return it, so we're out the $120.00. Oh well, on to life's next challenge...

Original brake controller the minus button didn’t work all the time so figured it was worth replacing.Put this one in and always says no trailer. Checked wiring, checked multiple trailers, plugged in computer scanner and didn’t work.Put the old one back in and works as it should.

Always says trailer disconnected, tried with multiple trailers. no brake output. Replaced with OEM unit, and everything is fine.
