Had to return, no defect. Had a different connector and number of wires. Other wise would have been perfect

The part is physically the same, but the electrical connector does not fit a 2015 Nissan Murano. It comes with an adapter that also doesn’t fit. 2015-2018 Murano owners beware.

Yes, it works perfectly so far. Have to use the pigtail connector it comes with. Code cleared and has not returned. I call that a win.

After others had made the comments about the item not working I was nervous. When I received the shutter assembly the first thing I did was plug it in to see if it worked which was easy because the adapter cable gave me some extra room. No joy. Then I thought, maybe I should clear the code and try it again and don’t you know... it worked!It’s not an easy place to get into to replace it but some You Tube videos showed the least invasive way to do the job, though a rack would be much easier then crawling around on the garage floor.

The unit came with a pigtail which I had to use. Thought this was a direct replacement. Otherwise works. Cleared engine service light and going good so far.
