Gm used these as a filter for you Brake booster. Although many people leave them in for ages they are supposed to be changed periodically. This replacement looks and works the same but costs less than the GM part. Cant go wrong. Installed this on my 1987 Camaro Z28.

Fit is good. Installs in factory location on 86 K5 blazer. The last one blew apart. Same dorman part. Kinda sketch when you loose brake boost.

Worked fine. I used it on the vent from my 73 Camaro gas tank. Gas sell has disappeared.
