Nice fit but a little hard to press in the colder weather , GM offers a replacement that I would recommend because this is not a easy install . Better know what you are getting into , not hard but labor intensive . I would go a few more bucks for GM switch .

Did the Job, easy install.Just watch a video on getting to the emergency release of your liftgate if it is stuck closed.

As a replacement, it's a perfect fit, and does work fine in warmer climate. In colder climate though (ie. Minnesota) the cover over the push buttons is extremely stiff and often will NOT trigger the release. After a few of these experiences with the switch, I replaced it with an OEM part which had a soft cover and that worked flawlessly.
