Lots of reviews said these didn't fit but mine matched up perfectly with duralast drums from autozone. I applied a light layer of grease and ensured the brake pads were adjusted properly and the drums went on. It is a tight fit so it took a little patience but wiggling the drums around set them in nicely.

Bought this item Hoping with no install problems. Wrong! I called Dorman Tech Support to let them know of this problem, and he wanted me to measure the shaft with a caliper! I asked him don't you have Quality Control in making and checking these before they go out? He had no answer! Took this shaft to a local auto store to try it on one of their drums with a bearing installed, No fit as well. They ordered me another spindle shaft (auto parts store) got it the next day, it Fit! But same brand, Dorman. Dorman tech told me they were having issues since 2014 and these being at stores and Amazon stocked possibly since 2014 because there were some Oversized ones, like mine. Newer stock does not have this problem which is the one I got at a local store here. Why didn't Dorman recall this stored stock from Amazon? Beware buyers on this item here. Sending it back.

This was a perfect replacement for my cars rear spindles. There is no need to waste time cleaning up old spindles when you can use new clean ones to ensure the job is done right. This was a good value for a product that worked the first time out. I used a torque wrench to remove the old bolts and to install the new ones so it was solid when I installed the bearing assembly.

I just installed this spindle on a 2003 Ford Focus ZX3 and it is a perfect fit on the original drum brakes. From the Dorman site this part is compatible with Ford Focus models from 2000 to 2008. Good value compared to the original OEM part that costs 255$. The OD of the spindle is 29mm

Do not buy this spindle. Period. I ruined 2 separate bearings trying to put the drum on (I first used the replacement duralast drum with pre-pressed bearing, then attempted to put the old Ford drum on). Both bearing's racings and sleeves were knocked completely out by the spindle. The micrometer revealed that this spindle is defective, and is off by up the 8 thousandth's of an inch. I went to the local O'reilly auto parts store to confirm my findings, and brought the dorman spindle, and a new drum that I had just purchased. O'reilly sells this exact spindle as well, and their spindles would not fit in the drum either. I recommend that Dorman tighten their quality control on the machining of these spindles and make sure that they can fit in both the OEM Ford drum and aftermarket drums.
