Great price and quick delivery. Just one complaint: why do so many of the ads for this item mistakenly state that it won't fit a Subaru with the 2.5 engine, instead giving the impression it was made exclusively for the same-year and model vehicle, but with the 2.2 engine? I took a chance that this was an error, and was right, it fit like a glove. It didn't make any sense to me that such an item would be modified in shape/function solely for a different engine install. Seems to work great as my 'check-engine light' so far has remained off.

Have code p0440 tried this part . My 99 outback Canister is prob the original and hoped it would fix . Nope still got a check engine light.

Good quality canister and easy to install you can bypass this but I rather keep it on my car.

Perfect replacement for my 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX wagon, direct bolt in to the existing hangars and uses all existing bolts. Hose connectors are the proper size, so it will swap right in. If your Subaru is throwing a P0457 code for EVAP leaks, this may be one part (among many) that you'll want to inspect and possibly replace, especially if it's old and full of carbon due to too much topping off at the gas station.

Easy swap out for my ‘04 Subaru forester. Quality seemed just as good as the OEM I pulled off. Fixed my problem of not being able to fill up the gas tank with out the pump shutting off every half a gallon.

Worked perfectly. And fit perfectly. Amazon said it didn't fit my car, but when I read the description it had my year listed. Finally fixed the problem where I couldn't fill up my gas tank because the fuel pressure sensor in the pumps would shut off the gas after a few seconds due to pressure build up. Basically all gas pumps thought my tank was full all the time. Even when. It was empty.

I drive a 1999 subaru forester L and have had the classic issue where the gas pump stops after about 2 liters and then I have to wait, then go again over and over. I took a gamble and bought this charcoal filter to swap out with my old one and it fixed the problem completely. So glad it worked and bolted up without an issue (other than my rusted bolts lol)

Direct replacement for GC/GM subaru. Can fill the tank like normal now. If you see black beads falling out of your old one you need this.
