I purchased a pair of these seals for my 2006 Chevy Tahoe. I didn't want to buy all 4 yet, as there are mixed reviews. I installed them on the driver's side doors this morning. Installation took 10-15 minutes. I have ordered two more for the passenger side doors! The front door seal went on quickly. I had to remove the door sill trim and fuse box cover. The other trim pieces moved enough to pop the new seal on. The seal was slightly longer than needed, so I trimmed off the extra. The door closes perfectly with no additional force needed. The rear door was a bit more trouble, as I did not remove the grab handle at the top of the door. The new seal was hard to install around the handle and I had to use a screwdriver to help make it fit. When I replace the seals on the passenger's side, I will remove the handle to speed up the install. The new seal was longer than needed so I trimmed the extra off. The rear door closes with no additional force.I am very happy with the fit and finish. My 18 year old Tahoe had some wind noise and the rear door seal would sometimes pop off at the top. I cannot wait for the other two seals to come it and finish this product.

My old door seal leaked and I found out that this one is way bigger then the oem driver side. But I needed it. I have to get the passenger side. I will be coming back..

The seal was easy to install and fit well. However, the thickness of the seal prevents the door from shutting properly without slamming it. It's been a few weeks since the installation, and the most positive thing I can say is that there are no leaks. Unfortunately, the door still requires a slam to close completely. I hope it will wear in a bit better over time.

Note: Although this item is listed as "driver's side" only, it works for both sides (and presumably passenger doors also, if your vehicle has them).Find and watch instructional videos on the Net and you'll see that you'll only need to remove 4 interior trim pieces before removing the old and installing the new weatherstripping. When you remove the old weatherstrip, find and remove the small piece of foam rubber that's inserted in one end; this prevents leakage past the joint where the ends meet. You'll want to glue one end of the foam into one end of the weatherstrip AFTER you've installed and cut it to length. The other end need not be glued. I used silicone sealant for this purpose. Install time was less than 30 minutes per side. After installation, a test drive showed that the cabin of my 2004 Tahoe was much quieter. It was amazing to hear the difference. Bear in mind that with the new seals, you will HAVE to work harder to shut the doors. That's the nature of new door weatherstripping! Recommended if you're tired of hearing the wind in your ear when driving your Tahoe or other compatible vehicle.

This product is top notch and easy to work with. These are as good as OEM seals and work well. Have installed many OEM seals is the past years and these fit and function the same. Would buy these again. Highly recommend.Doors seal and close like new.Well done

It seals but you have to slam the door closed, so much so my door panel, lock cover, and door led are falling out. About 3 weeks in its not any better.

Did its job great. People seem to complain on here about the door not shutting as easy, which of course it doesn’t. It’s a new strip of weather stripping. It’s not worn out. Heads up though it’s for a crew cab truck. Not an extended cab. Should work for a single cab too.

Had to trim off about 4-6 inches. Adjusted the door hinge out a bit and door is air tight and good to go.

This seal is a little thicker than stock, so I've gotta slam the door but that's OK, because it seals great. I also changed the hinge pins for the 4th time, but this time I went with the new style that use a threaded nut instead of that lousy e-clip, so the pins are solid with no sag. With the new seal and new hinge pins, this 18 year old door is solid again with no more wind noise!

Works well, fits well with a slight trim. Works as well or better than OEM on my 05 Suburban.
