After opening the package , which was double boxed and the mirror was also in a cloth bag. Very nice packaging. Was easy to install and the only thing I noticed different was the OEM mirror as a plastic center clip that snaps in . The new part does not. But bolted down tight and looks great.

It seems like they shake a little but they fit perfectly and look factory on the 2001 2500hd gmc I have I would buy them again if I needed more

there are many choices out there for this mirror and they all have reviews except this one... i chose this one because the mirror has "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" imprinted on the surface which is also on the original mirror so i figured this was going to be most like the the one that came on my 2006 silverado...shipping was fast and it was very well packed with attention made to the product arriving in perfect condition...rubber caps on the 3 mounting studs, a protective cover for the uppermost pointed edge of the housing and a nice synthetic bag that it was wrapped in...install time was less than it took me to locate the 10mm socket for the studs and as far as price goes, it was less than some of the mirrors that had image vibration issues at highway speed...am i a happy camper? yes...would i recommend it to others? yes...

Pretty much identical to the factory original that was torn off by a passing vehicle while I was parked. The only differences that I can find are there are locator tabs on the original that aren’t on the replacement. This didn’t make any difference as the installation is quite simple. The other difference seems to be in the tensioning spring for the mirror adjustment. The mirror does stay secure in the desired position, however it is subject to vibration while driving whereas the factory mirror does not vibrate. All in all good value for the money.
