I put these on my back seat head rests to reflect high beams back at people. Works like a charm. They either back off a good 8 car lengths back or get mad and go around. The best part? If the driver behind you is only using their low beams, the light will not reflect back at them and they are completely legal as long as they do not block your view. You can fact check me on that.

For the price they are just fine. I use it on the door to my office so I can see if someone is coming my way. Its just big enough to see from my desk. I would buy it again.

I put this up outside on the door jam because when I let the dog out to do their business, I cannot see the dog without having the wide-angle mirror to view when they are near the house.Some people have asked if the convex shape is just wide on this almost rectangular, horizontally oriented mirror, or if it is like the circular ones. Answer: It is definitely like the circular convex mirrors. In fact, it looks to me like these mirrors start out as circular, and then have the top and bottom cut off to make them more rectangular.If you turn the mirror a quarter turn so it is longer vertically, you don't see any distortion like you would if it was only wide angle in one direction.The mirror I got is definitely made of glass, but it is very lightweight glass. The two pieces of double-stick foam tape on the back are plenty large to hold up this light mirror, but they are not very sticky. I hope it will stay up in the wind. Where I stuck it is somewhat protected, so I hope it will be OK.The amount of convex is significant. If the mirror is too far away from your face, what is reflected in the mirror gets pretty darned small. As long as you're using it in a location where you can be within one or two feet from it, it's a good balance of just big enough to see, but as small as possible.

Gives a nice wide angle view. I use it on a pole to reflect the garage door so that I can see if the door is closed through a network camera that gives a view of the driveway.

Mirror has good clarity but the aluminum backing to hold mirror us cheap and not great quality. The mirror is only held on the left and right curved side by crimping the sides but not on the straight top/bottom side. Dirt accumulates easily in the crevices and if you use a rag to clean mirror it hangs up on the frame. Walmart has a same size mirror embedded in a black ABS mount that goes all the way around. Looks more attractive and blends in better with automotive applications.

A really cool convex mirror, good size 4†x 5†peel and stick, no need to drill holes, very fast and convenient, good clear reflection.

the frame holding it (the curved glass) is ade of aluminum or tim and its very fragile easy to bend also the tape is not that strong
