Holy canoli, this stuff is STRONG! I used it to tack down corners on shelf liner inside my cupboards and it does not want to come up once it's in place.

Washable rugs have become the bane of my existence. I hate them, yet they're everywhere. I fell in love w/ a pattern and purchased as it promised to be "thicker" than the competition, but NO. Sucks. So, I got a 1/4" rug pad. Nice! Feels much better. But...they don't stay put. The rug bunches up in around my coffee table, my dog runs around- it's just UGHHH. Pleasantly surprised that this actually worked in keeping it put. It's a bit harder to tear with your fingers than tape, honestly, but it does tear. One thing-I had a felt rug pad, and the tape became a piece of unusable fuzz when I needed it adjusted just a TEENY bit. So, if you mess up, you will need to start over. Readjusting isn't an option. I hope to do my entire rug at some point, when I'm at my most patient. I only did the edges to test it. But it's done a good job of keeping the two (rug & pad) attached. This is the only application I've tried, and so far so good. I have very sensitive skin and can't imagine using it on my skin. I'd also be worried about damaging clothes with the way it treated my rug pad. I think it's good for household use, but fashion/body tape? Not so much.. I'll update with any changes.

I use this tape to reapply some laminate floor tiles that had moved out of position. I also use these to apply some vinyl baseboard to some kitchen cabinetry. This double-sided tape worked very well, was easy to use, work as expected, and I didn't run into any problems at all. I like how the tape is so that you can apply it without floor tile sticking up above the neighboring tiles.

Tape is very difficult to handle. It just wads up.

I've tested and reviewed a lot of different types and brands of double-faced tape. The latest trend seems to be clear, reusable nano tape. That works well for some jobs (like mounting small items) and poorly for others (as carpet tape). This tape is strictly old-school tape that's actually a mesh fabric with adhesive on both sides. For holding down items such as runner rugs it's perfect. I like that it tears easily when you're using it. With some carpet tapes you need a pair of scissors or a razor and the downside with those is that the glue invariably sticks to the blade and can be difficult to remove. The backing that you remove is very easy to get off (unlike with any nano tape) and the tape will stick to clean, dry surfaces such as a concrete garage floor. (My experience with nano tape is that it won't stick to concrete at all, no matter how smooth it is.)This is a 2-pack and each roll is 66 feet, which means you could easily use it on several area rugs. It's very thin, so under the carpet it's completely unnoticeable.Good product: Recommended.

Carpet tape is strong enought to hold a rug to concrete floor. Easy to use by rolling it out and sticking it down. Tape functions like tape.

The amount of tape that comes on a roll is really not that much, I used an entire roll for one area rug. I'm using this because it's an area rug on top of berber carpet and it keep creeping as people walk across it. It is super sticky but a little hard to peel. When applying it to the back of a rug, make sure to burnish it down using something hard like the handle of the scissors, otherwise, it will pull right off when you try to separate the yellow backing paper off. Holding well so far, just wish there was more on a roll- one roll could easily hold what this gives you on two rolls. Weird.
