Geist. Sanding Pads are multi-use, versatile pads that can be used wet or dry. Suitable for use on leather, vinyl, wood, paints, fillers and plastic materials.
These pads are ideal for removing imperfections which are common when re-colouring or painting any surface. They are perfect to prepare a leather surface and to smooth out rough areas on leather and vinyl before applying paint or dye. Abrasive coated, double sided sponge pads that provide easy access to difficult contours, profiles and edges.

Why a sponge pad?
The sponge middle makes sanding more gentle on the surface, as the soft inner part absorbs pressure, which is ideal for when a standard sand paper might be too harsh.

I was a bit cautious about trying these, but I was very pleased to see that they removed the bobbles from my alcantara audi seats. Used light pressure and was amazed to see the results. No damage and loom good as new. Both pads were fully used after the single use but I can't complain about the quality as the bobbles on the seats were quite bad.
