Love this kayak paddle holder. The dual bracket works wonderful for my kayak even with a longer paddle. It has a nice keeper strap which also works great. This was a great buy.

The design of this paddle holder is offset from the boat, so it keeps your paddle outside the footprint of the kayak. This is nice as it doesn't impede on your space. There is something convenient about the double-headed design, yet it is also a bit cumbersome with the triangular footprint plus two heads. It also just comes across a little bulky in my opinion. That said, it worked well and felt sturdy (which is good, because I am not always gentle with pulling the paddle in and out of the holder). It is nice to just be able to quickly clip the paddle into the holder, and if you're leaving it in for an extended time or need more security, you can pull over the bungee cords to secure it. It fits well into the standard kayak track system. Over all, I would recommend this paddle holder.

Good but not great. I’m pretty sure this will end up snapping off, even with gentle use.

Take from a very seasoned kayaker/angler. I have YaAttack everything on my New Hobie PA 14 360. Needless to say I’ll be replacing my YakAttack double headers for this product. This is a very superior product over the YakAttack double headers. I’ll have pics posted showing all the details they put together to make this product. From all the rubber cushions, rubber sleeves, even the inside base of the grip is also rubber. This is a much smaller lower profile product. This product has all the same locking mechanisms at YakAttack all the way down to the grid lock patterns. The bungees and the end keeper is much better. The center channel lets you add more gear track accessories. Yah, The cheap prices aren’t going to last long. Better buy while you can.

Once installed this is surprisingly strong and works perfect. I bought this as a replacment for the high end one with low expectations. But at half the price, it surprised me with how well it works.

When I first got my kayak, I thought I would have to tie a rope to the paddle to avoid losing it while fishing. Then I learned there are paddle holders. This one is really solid. The paddle snaps in between hard-rubber wheels to hold it snugly, then there are two cords to loop over the paddle shaft to really hold it in place. Unless you're fishing in rapids, it's not going anywhere. When you're done, undo the cords and the paddle pops right out.This is very easy to assemble and install. There is a second rubber disk to accommodate a different track size, but it fit my standard track right out of the box.The holder and paddle can rotate a little if the water is rough, but I don't see that as an issue. The boat and track are plastic, as is this, so there is a practical limit to how much you can tighten things without breaking the plastic.

I used it in both configurations, with the bracket and without the bracket. Using the bracket I found myself tightening the knob that holds it in place often after putting the paddle on and off a few times. Also, if you put the paddle on to hard it feels like it’ll break. It probably won’t but it feels like it would.It does do a great job holding the paddle in place and even had straps to make sure the paddle doesn’t accidentally slip off.Using it without the bracket and mounting the arms individually on the accessory rack, it feels solid as a rock.

It's ok but it can be flimsy in waves and it never tightens tight to track on my kayak.
