I really like this. We like to use real butter but I do not like when it is super hard out of the fridge. We like to leave it at room temperature but I’m weird about leaving it out on the counter. This keeps the butter the perfect consistency and fresh. I swear somehow it even makes the butter taste better. It looks nice and does not take up a lot of room on the counter.

This is a good weight and keeps the butter fresh and soft. I use real butter which tends to get hard when refrigerated and is unspreadable. Just keeping it out on the counter, it risks going bad before using it all. I love this as it reminds me of one my grandmother used. I just change the water daily replacing it with ice cold water. It keeps the butter fresh but soft and accessible right on my counter. It holds just the right amount and it looks good.

Keeps butter cool on the counter. It's easy to use and not messy. Keeps the butter covered. Just flip the top use or serve the butter and the place the top back in the crock.I change the water everyday. Love it. Much better than a butter dish or plate.

The Dowan Butter Keeper Crock is a different way to keep you butter fresh and at room temperature. It is innovative and different. The butter is extraordinarily smooth and will not tear the softest of breads. It different as the butter is upside down in the top of the crock over a small reservoir of water. I have given this as a gift to friends and would say it is a great addition to any kitchen.

I love the blue color and cute to display on my countertop. Unfortunately, this doesn’t work to keep butter soft. Also, if you fill it to the waterline the butter gets wet and sometimes butter falls down into the water in the bottom.

I like the look and feel of the range, I have earlier ordered the spoon rest, salt and pepper shakers. They look good in a complete look and feel. Hope the spoon rest was a little bigger though

I was after a butter dish and did some searching to find the best one when I came across this genius butter keeper that is true to the original french design.Our butter now stays nice and fresh in this keeper and is easily spreadable and doesn’t get mould on it.Delivery and packaging were really good.
