Well packaged, solid core and what I expected it to be.

I went through several iterations of dowel jigs. Best you can say for any of them if tall enough, is they help you hold that drill motor perpendicular to the task....but none of them will help you find the center accurately (read the reviews and go for 3 or less stars for the best help....ha! I gave this 5 stars because ifyou find a guide to ensure perpendicularity, these beauties will set in the holes while you clamp the otherface to them and make a clear mark. Use brad point bits by hand for the second meeting hole for the other half of those dowels. A depth stop is the last helper you will need. I correct about one in four holes on the secondary side as doing that by hand isn't the best way for perpendicularity but widening thatsame opening with the same drill bit can correct it well enough. Let the glue hold; use dowels for addedstrength along the shear line...this is the best way I have ever found.

I use these to mark drill holes for trailer redecking. Work good.

5-star review as they are highly effective at this price point. Sure, I could buy a Woodpeckers tool (I have MANY and love them) but sometimes that investment is not necessary. For me, this was one of those situations.

Read the print on the bottom of the page. THOSE dimensions accurately describe the product...but the yar e not TRUE dowel transfers for 1/4" 5/16" 38" and 1/2" as advertised at the TOP.Basically either too sloppy or too big - for English sized dowels...

These really work quite well however they are metric sizes, so they’re going to either be too tight or have a bit of movement! Good enough for my needs but just be aware!

Diameters are all over the place, as Glennis said. Some fall out of the drilled hole, some you would have to literally hammer in the hole because they're so fat. Terrible. If i were able to ram them into the drilled hole, I wouldn't know how to get them out without damaging the work. Some of the tips of these are completely flat as well. What good is that?Literal garbage. I've thrown them all out. Not one was worth saving. So save your money instead.
