About this item

  • Ultra thin FOR PHOTO AND PAPER PROJECTS ONLY: Low-profile small magnets for crafts with LIGHT MAGNET HOLDING POWER for delicate jobs. LIGHT ADHESIVE (on one side) to minimize damage to photos/paper.
  • Roll is preloaded with a FULL 25 FEET of continuous, flexible tape x .75 inch wide--not separate pre-measured magnetic strips. Compare to other shorter rolls of magnet tape--don't run out mid-project!
  • LITTLE TO NO CURLING (a common problem with other thin magnetic tape). Carefully examine images of any competitor's magnetic tape roll first--make sure you don't spot much curling before you buy!
  • BRIGHT DISPENSER WITH BUILT-IN CUTTER: No scissors needed! Dispenser features a steel serrated edge, so you cut only the length you need (no waste). Bold, contemporary design looks great on your desk.
  • ATTRACTS TO ITSELF TOO: Two pieces of this magnetic tape attract to one another! Position both pieces of tape in the SAME DIRECTION (horizontal to horizontal…or vertical to vertical) for this to work.

Flexible and extra thin- no added bulk! Features light adhesive and light magnet holding power. For delicate arts and crafts projects or hanging a paper or photos. Measures .75"W x 25'L.

Yes, you read that title right.I'm giving 5 Stars because:-Efficiently packaged. (See photo)-Perfect thickness. (See photo)-It really does stick together if needed. (See photo)So why did I return it?Unfortunately it did not work for my DIY project. I was trying to use it to make a magnetic screen protector for my tablet, similar to what I've seen for the iPad - but it does not work as I'd hoped and does not magnetize to the edges of the tablet screen.

The Dowling Magnets Adhesive Magnetic Tape has been a lifesaver in my classroom! I use it to stick various items—charts, posters, and visual aids—right onto the whiteboard, and it works wonders. The magnet is strong and durable, hold up well even with heavier items. It’s perfect for creating an organized and dynamic learning environment without having to rely on tacks or clips. The tape is easy to cut to size, making it versatile for different classroom needs. It’s a must-have for any teacher looking to keep their board space functional and clutter-free.

I'm a teacher and being able to display things is a must. I like using white boards and colored markers, but the markers run out and it's sometimes hard to read from the back of the room. Now I print out on paper the major key words, slap some of this tape on the back, and I now have key words and phrases that can be easily moved and are visible to all. Everybody wins! The only negatives are the plastic tape container and the adhesive. The plastic tape container comes apart easily and needs to be reinforced with some tape. Also the adhesive is okay. I've noticed that on some of my older laminated papers (more that a year old) the magnetic tape has fallen off of a couple of places. But I don't laminate the papers anymore and haven't noticed a problem yet. I hope this review helps :)

Adhesive strength was good, the value was great, the quality was good, no color variety, and the ease of removal was great!

This magnetic tape let me install some cool stickers on my toolbox without needing to actually stick them on! Was very easy to cut, easy to apply and is holding up well.

The magnet on this tape is very weak. I have a pull-out trash and recycle cabinet with trash cans that have lids that open from the top. Right above the trash drawers are two smaller storage drawers with metal handles. I bought this tape to place on top of the lids so that when I open them, the tape would catch on the metal handles, keeping the lids open when I dump trash. Initially, I added one layer of tape, but the lids kept falling back down, so I added another layer. The second layer does make it somewhat stronger, but it doesn’t always work—I’ve seen the lids fall back down several times. The lids are very light, so the tape should be working better. At this point, I may as well get some mini round magnets with adhesive backing, which I’m sure will have a much stronger hold.

This stuff is amazing! I’ve done so many creative things in my classroom with this product. It is pretty light weight so I added bigger pieces to my materials and worked out great.

I love how thin this magnetic tape is but I am not satisfied with the magneticity of it for what I am using it for.

Es un excelente artículo para sostener calendarios, hojas y cosas extremadamente ligeras en cualquier superficie vertical, ya que la potencia del imán es sutil/suave

I'm honestly quite confused by the reviews on this item. All the negative reviews seem to mention that the magnets in the tape aren't strong enough to hold "objects," which I can only assume means they've used this tape for something other than what it's intended for. It's very clearly stated on the advertising and item name that this is intended for paper or photos only, nothing heavier than that. For paper and photos, this tape has worked wonderfully well. It's super convenient to keep in a drawer and add some on. I've tested this with a number of photos and paper items at this point, and both the adhesive and magnetism has been perfect for these items. It definitely wouldn't be strong enough for anything heavier, but that's not what this is for.Bonus: this magnetic tape is also perfect for adding weight to tennis racquets or pickleball paddles. It's ~0.51g/in by weight, and you don't need strong adhesive at all for this purpose. One thing to keep in mind is that the edge guard for 16mm pickleball paddles is around 0.75", so this tape tends to overhang the edges awkwardly. I like to cut the width down a bit to where it's around 0.4g/in, but you can double layer to get 0.8g/in without it being super bulky.Negatives: the only negative things I can say (and these aren't worth subtracting a star) is that there's no paper backing for the adhesive, so I wouldn't recommend using it like a tape roll as shown. Instead I would just leave it all on the roll and pull some off when needed. I also don't like the cutting power or how clean the edges are when using the tape cutter on the case, so I'd recommend only using scissors instead.

Difficile de couper avec le distributeur, mais avec des ciseaux ça va bien. Je l'utilise pour tenir de petites affiches et c'est efficace.

I like the tape roll format, but it is pretty strong stuff, so scissors are better for cutting. The magnet isn’t as strong as I’d like probably because of its’ thinness, but it will work well for filter replacement mesh on computers. This is my main use for it and its thin nature works perfectly.
