It works, though it tends to pop out of the pinch bolt clevis. I suspect one of the rounded spreaders would pop out less.

The metal flexes while trying to spread the knuckle, then shoots out with incredible force, sending the two halves flying off in different directions. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THIS TOOL WHILE FACING YOUR DIRECTION.Instead, run the knuckle bolt backwards through the threaded side into a plate in between the knuckle bolt ears. Solid, reliable, and basically free.Do not buy this.
