Very handy spreader for doing suspension work. I used this when I replaced the struts on my VW and it works great! I had tried using a wedge and hammer to spread the lower strut mount but it was not working the best at keeping it open to get the new strut in place. I switched to this and found it to be a much better option for keeping it spread, plus it uses less room to work than a hammer and wedge. Great tool that I wish I had for previous suspension work I have done.
