This is a great heavy duty, multi-featured trowell. I use it in my treasure hunting pursuits, and it has also become my "go to" trowell for garden work as well.Very heavy, thick steel. I sharpened this trowell on my bench grinder, and it will easily cut through nasty clay soil, roots, and whatever else you encounter.Nice belt holster, to boot.

This tool is sturdy, well made and should last indefinitely if used with a dose of common sense.. It's also handy for gardening projects when you're not digging treasure. Sheath is well made for keeping the tool close. Very satisfied with tool and purchase.

I bought this to use with my hand held metal detector on the beach. Worked excellent in the sand and made hunting so much easier.

Purchased this digging tool specifically for metal detecting and I am completely satisfied with the product. It cuts through hard and rocky soil with ease. Also, the serrated edge works exceptionally well getting through roots while carving out the exact size hole you need to retrieve the object you are looking for. Even after months of hard use multiple times a week this tool has not bent, chipped or cracked in anyway due to its thick steel one piece design. Some of the finish wore off but that was to be expected with the environment it is used in. The tool is perfectly sized to not be in your way while it is strapped to your belt as you are swinging a metal detector. The sheath makes accessibility a breeze both taking it out and putting it back. The handle and grip fits your hand well for a comfortable grip as you dig in even the toughest environments. It is so durable I don't think I will ever need another one but if I do I will not hesitate to purchase again!

The sharp and solid blade is great for slicing out a section of grass when the roots make digging difficult. The angled top means you can push it with your foot if you need extra pressure, and the shape means you can cut out a neat 'plug' that is easy to replace afterwards. The curved blade is also good as it can be used like a simple trowel to move the soil around.Great for finding objects in grass or tough ground, and the belt-holder is actually usable, with both hoops and velcro.
