I was desperate and having to consider rehoming my cat because she was peeing everywhere all the time. This worked immediately. She started using it and hasn’t peed outside the box once in three weeks. Beyond that, it’s the best litter I’ve used, period. It isn’t dusty, it doesn’t smell, it doesn’t track, it clumps right. Perfect for my litter robots. I’m so grateful that I’ve actually cried over it.

This cat litter does really attract your cat! Our 14 yr old cat stopped using his litter box for a couple of weeks, so we researched and found this litter.There was a hole in the bag and some of the litter spilled on our dining room floor. Before it was cleaned up, our cat decided to to use the spilled litter. He hadn't used any cat litter in weeks. But this litter did its job very well!It has very little dust. Less than other cat litters. I think that it does last a long time, although we mix it with a less expensive litter that is scented because I don't feel it is the best with odor control. We have one cat and a 40lb bag can last 3-4 months by doing it that way.

Despite seeing all the positive reviews, I was still skeptical. Could litter actually stop a cat from pooping outside her litter box? How? No way!! My cat was pooping and peeing outside her box for over 6 months with no health issues found after a $500 vet bill. But I am here to tell you that after 2 days of this litter (and adding another litter box) being put into the box, it worked!!! How? I don’t care, it WORKED! If you are having these issues, give it a try! Another huge plus is that it is not at all dusty, it holds together to clump pee beautifully! A miracle!

I have one cat (“Spikeâ€) that MUST have Dr. Elsey’s Cat Attack litter. He refuses to use any other litter and will use the rugs, towels, clothes or whatever is convenient if this particular litter is not in his litter box. Formerly a indoor/outdoor cat, Spike witnessed an event that led to his current PTSD, agoraphobia and FLUTD/FIC (an obstructed urethra) where elimination is crucial and per vet orders I need to “reduce any stressors and encourage eliminationâ€. Upon his release from the hospital, he became a permanent indoor cat and moved into the main house, and so started the litter box issues as well as his fear of leaving the bedroom. Long story short, after trying a number of different litter brands and types of litter, it was Dr. Elsey’s Cat Attack that solved the problem! I usually buy the 40lb bag at the local big box pet store, but their next delivery was the following week. Figuring I could do better, I found it on Amazon Prime. Not only could I have it in two days BUT I didn’t have to ruin my back with lifting & the logistics associated with buying locally (-not as young as I used to be). What I DO like:- It clumps exceptionally well.- Scooping removes only the soiled clumps without a lot of litter excess attached (saving you on unnecessary waste & extending the life of your purchase).- It is clay based so it is low dust with little litter getting tracked.- It is made with natural ingredients: 100% sodium bentonite clay from Wyoming plus a propriety blend of herbs for the “attractant†(although unscented to us humans).- It’s good at odor control and has no perfume scent- It works in regular & mechanical litter boxes- Each bag includes Dr. Elsey’s informative Litter Box Basics pamphlet that contains also contains a few coupons in the back for your future purchase.- It comes in a variety of sizes & packaging to suite your storage needs.- It lasts a long time with regular daily maintenance- Made in the USA (Colorado)What I DO NOT like:- It’s extremely heavy even when dry & not soiled.- Scooping can be stressful on weak wrists- Requires a heavy duty scooper for- It’s a bit pricey compared to the other 40lb bag I purchase for the other cats.- It is not biodegradable and eco-friendly. It can’t be flushed, compost, or repurposed. It’s is not organic so all “used†portions that get thrown away end up in a landfill.For Spike and his condition, Dr. Elsey’s Cat Attack litter has been effective in helping him recover & urinate more frequently & stress free. Overall, it works as an attractant for cats with medical & mental issues, but not the most budget friendly for the task. 4 Stars.

Alright, so I absolutely HATE kitty litter, so much that I trained my older cat to use the toilet since he was a young cat. However, my new kitten just can't grasp the toilet concept no matter what I try, so I finally gave in and got a robo Kitty Litter... while that works great, my little turd of a kitten has had a couple of accidents (peeing only) even though he's next to the robo-litter box. I figured it's the texture of the actual litter he hates. Plus, I have 3 floors so he's recently started to have a couple of "accidents" upstairs and not going into the basement robo litter box - thus I needed to add another cat litter on the top floor (no robo-litter box, just a regular faux plant cat litter box).Anyway, I tried every kitty litter you that's out there on the market: pellets, flushable, mulchy kind, Pretty Litter, Crystal one, - you name it. I even the Sustainably Yours Cat Grain Formula - and while it does well on smell, it clumps waaayyy too much and you have to change out the box more often. And while the pretty & crystal littler looks nice it doesn't absorb the smell and it turns the litter box yellow/green (vastly different than its original color (blue/white). It's just gross. Finally, after so much research I decided to try Dr. Elsey's Premium Clumping Cat Litter. OMG, it's a game changer. It works so well, that I think I finally will stop trying new litter and stick to this one as my main one. I was afraid that it would have that clay litter effect, where's it's just gross but holy crap, no. It clumps very fast, and very well, There's no smell (but then again I do have a Cat genie next to my upstairs Faux Plant Cat Litter Box. It's definitely a game changer. The only downfall is that it is HEAVY.... I mean... heavy - but, so worth it. My little turd hasn't had any accident since using this new litter.As the title says, I'd love to gatekeep only b/c you know supply and demand drives the prices up, but I can't. It's that much of an amazing product that hopefully someone reads this, relates to my original dilemma a and can help resolve their challenge.

I recently got a kitten and she has been a complete nightmare; she’s been pooping and peering everywhere. I took her to the vet and she was completely fine, but just was taken a little early (was not aware of this before I got her). Anyways, I tried calming defusers, having her watch my older cat, and rewarding when she did use the litter box but nothing would work. Until I discovered this. It worked instantly. And I mean instantly. It works so well that even my older cat likes to use this litter LOL. 11/10. The only con is that it is difficult to scoop and hardens really quickly. But I don’t even mind because at least I’m not cleaning poop and pee of the ground everyday. ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ™

This litter is the only thing that’s convinced my cat to use her litter boxes instead of my bed. She likes it so much she just lays in it.

La vd si atrajo a mi gato adulto que prefiere siempre ir al jardÃn, pero era un problema que quisiera ir durante la madrugada, por lo que opté por comprarle esta arena a ver si asà ya lo convencÃa de ir a su arenero si es de noche, y sà empezó a ir. Seguro entre la textura y el olor le agradó, quizá se asemejó un poco más a la tierra del jardÃn. La he vuelto a comprar cuando mi gato decide que de nuevo no quiere usar su arenero.
