As someone who lives in a tiny New York apartment, I wanted a coffee grinder that performs well, not an eyesore and does not take up precious counter space. Like many, I fall into the category of “selective with coffee, but not a connoisseur.†If you fall under this category and prioritize a grinder that takes up little counter space/can easily be stored in a cabinet while performing its one basic function well—purchase this.I spent a good deal of time reading Wirecutter reviews for best coffee grinders and my conclusion is this: At 6am, my brain does not want a pretentious coffee grinder that has too many options. To be fair, I wouldn’t want that many options at any given time. This coffee grinder has one basic function which is enough for most. To those that say this product is difficult to clean—most appliances with blades are. Sound wise—it’s as loud as any grinder. Like your coffee beans coarse or fine? That’s on you to decide by however long you press on the button. I personally feel like this gives me more control over coarseness.Aesthetically speaking, this grinder is super cute and I’m into the color.

My husband had his coffee grinder from his college days, and it was the only thing that I could use because it was the best thing ever. LOLSo I went ahead and purchased this one to grind my herbs, now I have to buy another because he uses it for the coffee. So nice and quiet (you can grind when people are sleeping and not wake them), does a great job! Very easy to clean, big vat to hold a lot of coffee beans. Where have you been all my life is all I needed to know. Haha. Definitely recommend.

I bought this grinder to grind my coffee beans for my espresso machine. It works great! The only downside is that you have to manually hold the button down the whole time you are grinding. There is no preset button or setting that you can push the grind for a certain amount of time.

I love this coffee grinder! Not only does it work perfectly, but it also looks great on my kitchen counter. The design is sleek and modern, so I don’t feel the need to hide it away in a cabinet. For those who gave it only one star, claiming that it stopped after one or two uses; of course it did; it clearly states on the instructions to use in only for 30 second increments, and to make sure the lid is on properly, and not to put water in it!I put some flax seeds in it, and made sure that I only operated the switch for 25 seconds; it was long enough to grind the seeds perfectly, very fine, and I was very happy with the results. Follow the instructions!The only downside was the useless plastic brush for cleaning the grinder that came with it;. Happily this did not bother me as I used one of my own brushes to clean the grinder. Only took 2 minutes and it was ready for anything I need to grind in future.I would very happily recommend the grinder, and the seller.

Just a comment. For those like me who are hesitant to use an electric grinder in which you cannot set the fineness of the grind, this works great, but 2 points1. Rely on timing (for example, for 20 ~23g (for 2 cups), push the grind button for 5 seconds). If you overgrind for a bean that tends to be dense and/or it’s a dark roast, over grinding will give you a more bitter flavor.
