More Tips to use with Epoxy Resin:
1) Poured in silicone molds in layers, allowing air bubbles completely escape;
2) To expedite the process of escaping of bubbles and time of solidification of resin, the mold can be a bit warmed up, for example, heat the oven to 80°C, turn off, ventilate it a little and put mold, filled with resin in the oven.
3) Follow resin instruction for the time need to cure, measure and mix resin properly. It does not mean it has been cured if it is hard.
4) Do not use water-base ink for resin casting.
5) After baking clay / resin in complex or deep molds release the finished product under running water with soap.
6) Put in refrigerator a while/ soak in hot water a while/ release with baby oil if it is hard to release.

We bought these while we were very new to resin casting. The quality is superb! We've never had any issues with unmolding. We do use mold release. You also need to level the mold rather precisely as the wings and claws are rather delicate. The detail is easily enhanced by applying mica powder. We like to use one color of mica and another of chameleon mica to really make the dragons special. Eyes are painted on before gifting. Our grandchildren are enjoying getting to choose all the colors. We highly recommend these molds!

These molds are freaking awesome!! Looking thru the reviews, I wasn't sure if I would be getting all 3 molds since only 2 are pictured but I did get all 3! They are very sturdy, hold in place without any effort at all, demolding was extremely simple once I broke the bond around the edges, and came out almost perfectly. The only issue I had was the points on the dragon head, but that was my fault as I didn't get the bubbles out before curing. To get the colors I did, I painted the mold with dry chameleon mica powder and poured resin that was colored with black acrylic paint. I'd definitely recommend these molds!! You won't regret it!! 🥰🥰🥰

I’ve made so many dragons. I don’t like the eye personally, but the other two I’ve used so much the mold is discoloring. Good detail, the molds are a little sticky til they are used for a while.

I have only used the laying down mold and only once so far. I like the detail in the mold and I used pigment power to paint the areas I wanted to stand out, which turned out well. The part I didn't like was that I tried to make the head and tail a different color resin and the body color just bleed into those areas. I feel I had the mold level so not sure why this happened. I hope to try again and the colors stay more apart.

I’ve bought these twice only cause resin slowly makes the molds unstable to use and slowly fall apart. But they are a great stable mold.

I love these molds! I, personally use them for resin and they have worked perfectly! The details turn out clearly, they’re easy to demold, and easy to clean.

Had some good practice with different resin techniques making the two babies I uploaded pictures of.They were super easy to pop out of the molds which I had been worried about given others I’ve purchased.They’re super cute too. I’m going to have a lot of fun making more.

Was a little unsure how these dragons would turn out. Moulds are quite heavy and have so much detail but, I was stunned at how lovely they turned out

El pack trae 3 moldes de dragoncitos de tamaño pequeño (aunque uno de ellos está muy bien, no es tan pequeño). Son diferentes: uno parece un dragón de agua (que me encanta), el otro un dragón tumbado como durmiendo (también muy chulo) y por último como un huevo pero con ojo.Los moldes son de calidad, de silicona fácil de limpiar y de usar. Me encanta que se vean bien los detalles de los dragones (escamas, ojos, etc).Lo veo ideal para resina Epoxi pero no para hacer cosas con materiales delicados como cera (para hacer velas) ni jabones porque se rompe.. Me frustró bastante, una pena, porque querÃa hacer velas pero por mucho que lo intentara o tratara de hacer algún truco (enfriar la cera en el frigorÃfico, etc), se me rompÃa por la parte de la cola. La cola está hecha de una manera tan detallada y difÃcil que cualquier material blanco como cera, jabón, etc., se rompe y no hay manera.Lo dicho, solo vale para materiales resistentes y duros como resina.
