So glad extentions are offered. Made it so easy to get a gate for the stairs and one for the hall. Easy to attach and works great! We don't anchor it to the walls, but have had no issues since getting the extension

I bought a DreamBaby baby gate about 5 years ago and it worked great. Now the door spring is worn out and I needed a replacement. But the model I bought (Chelsea) was listed for 3x the price. I figured it was discontinued and bought the new and improved model (Liberty). Unfortunately, the manufacturer changed all the dimensions and hole locations so that the old and new models are incompatible.Then I find out that while I needed two 7" extension for the old baby gate, the new one only needs one extension because they made the new one 1 1/2" wider. I go to make my return and find out that the extension I bought is REFUNDABLE but not NON-RETURNABLE (this only applies to 2 of the 3 widths). Since there's nothing wrong with the second extension I got, it means that I can't get a refund because I can't return it...Half the problem lies with the manufacturer for making incompatible parts (confusing shoppers) and half the problem lies with Amazon/seller for their unclear return policy. For starters, please give all three options (3", 7",10") the same return policy. And second, make it clearer if there are no returns. I should not have to check 3 different pages to determine which return policy applies to this item.As for the product itself, it works fine. The ability to leave the door open for unloading groceries is nice. It's weird though that it's a wider gate yet has a smaller opening for people to pass through. The new threaded screws and mounts are inferior to my old one and the moving parts feel flimsier than before.

PERFECT! I love these gates!! Very well made. I actually use them for my small dogs. The ones that stay open work better for my needs. However, they secure closed perfectly when my little grandchildren are around!!

We have a toddler who now needs gates at the top and bottom of stairs! This one gives us a wide-enough gate to block the entire stairway, which is something like 46" wide. The included wall-mounted "cups" hold the gate in place very well.

When I received the extension I held it next to one I already had. The new item was 1 inch taller than the old. I called the company and they did not know why. I suggested they changed the specs. They said it was the correct item. I sent them back but they only refunded $1.06. Don’t do business with this 3rd party seller.
