Make sure to read the height, this is not floor to ceiling as in literal terms since a ceiling is like 8 or 9 feet. This is maybe 6 feet, my cats are able to jump over it from the couch near the gate. However, it does what we need and easy to assemble. We added a baby gate at the top to make it fully floor to ceiling.

The gate is amazing and a great help when introducing new cats to your house. It’s sturdy and the height is great! A little in expensive side but a good quality product.

Ridiculously expensive for one extra bar, but so was the gate. Only tall cat gate available, though my cat still gets over it without a board installed above it.

Well, not many options out there like this. This gate has met all expectations, and works very well to block my cats from escaping. There is no middle support, so the middle does move a little if pushed on it hard (doubt a cat could). It is pretty expensive for a gate, but once again not many options out there. Feels sturdy enough and pretty simple to install! You'll want to make sure you measure your entrance. Mine is 40" and while it does work without buying the extensions, it does cause the outside bars to be more spread out. With my cats being larger, they can't squeeze through. If you have a smaller cat, definitely buy the extension if your entrance is over 37.5"
