I did not select refurbished but it is. Which dose not take away from function. You might have to figure out how to put in and remove attachments but it's a pretty simple mechanism.

Saved me 25$ and feels like I got a brand new. Came in an official dremel reconditioned box which was super legit a little worrying but opened it up and found my dremel looking brand spanking new. Love the deal no need to buy a absolutely new one unless the reconditioned are out of stock.

Received just today, haven't used it yet but it seems to run OK. There is a chunk broken out of the EZ TWIST nose cap (see photo), but it may only be cosmetic and not bad enough to send back - so I deducted one star for the damage.
