I purchased these hooks for an upcoming bass tournament. When the hooks arrived they definitely are nothing like as pictured. The wire for the hooks are light at best. The gap between the barb and bottom of the hooks are extremely to narrow to catch largemouth. They may work for small mouth but doubt it. Will not re-purchase or recommend to anyone.

I ordered these hooks to use with my wacky rigs for bass. The hooks are about a medium gauge and the tips are very sharp. The weedless wire works flawlessly and, so far, has kept me from hanging up, which saves me money on hooks. I particularly like the wide gap, which should give me a higher rate of hookups as compared to my J-hooks. I am fully satisfied and have no issues to report.
