I’m a day sleeper who has a south facing bedroom(which means my bedroom has all day strong sunlight to come in), so I always need a REAL blackout curtains liner to help darken my room during the daytime. I’ve tried many blackout liners in the market but was unsatisfied. Some liners has a chemical coating which do help to reduce the light and noise but has very bad smelling and plastic touch, other liners with hooks that are very painful to install and hurt my curtains.Now I’m so glad i found these innovative blackout liners. They are made of very thick and soft fabric, that do help to filter out 95% of the sunlight during the day and keep a better room temperature. Thanks to these liner, my wood floor wont get burned after a whole day sunlight grill. The color is light gray, good looking even hanging alone. The length is just perfect for my 84 inch long curtains, half inch shorter than the front curtains so you wont see liners. In addition, it only take me 5 mins to hang them up! Very easy to install and totally no hurt to my expensive curtains! much better than my old liners which rely on hooks to fix on my curtains. For the workmanship, they are sewn nicely and smoothly, heavy duty, worth every penny i paid. I would definitely command this products!

I bought these liners to go behind blackout curtains that did not block out all the light. I didn’t want something bulky and I didn’t want cheap looking,either. These were lightweight,easy to put up, and helped block more light. They are not flimsy and do not look cheap. Price was very good,too!

I needed to block out the cold from an old sliding glass door. I bought these to pair with those inexpensive curtains you see on Amazon, which I knew wouldn't do the job alone. The fabric of these insulated curtains is very sturdy, and does a great job at both blackout and thermal protection. Well worth the money there.Be warned that if you're looking for a grommeted curtain, this isn't it. The product photo is accurate, but at a glance it looks like a grommeted curtain. These have sewn-on fabric loops and a package of snap-on hoops, like 3-ring binders. When I added them it added 1/2 to 3/4 inch to the overall length. Although it shows a bit at the bottom, it's not that noticeable, so I'm keeping them. I take 1 star off for the mismatch.

It's true these are not full blackout curtains, but they do darken significantly, particularly behind existing non-blackout curtains. Our bedroom gets full morning sun and these have improved our sleep a lot.Most importantly, we had previously purchased full blackout curtain liners and, as many had commented, after a while the OTHER liners started to emit a terrible, chemical off-gassing odor. This was worst on the full-sun side. If you do a survey of Amazon's fully blackout curtains, at least some reviews on every single one mention bad odor.In contrast to some other reviewers, I found the rings, which are exactly the same as "binder rings" you can buy at the office supply store, ridiculously easy to use. Yes, if you have very little grip strength it could be a problem, but you want them to be firm-close so they will stay on the rods! Each liner took about 30 seconds to get onto the rod.THESE Driftaway "mostly-blackout" curtains do not emit odor, are soft to the touch and do block a lot of light. I bought two pair as a test, liked them and purchased more for my other windows.

I recently purchased these patterned curtains for my living/sleeping space. They were OK in that they weren't sheer, per se. BUT you could definitely see movement behind them if viewing from the street. Purchased these blackout liners and they do, indeed, block out the light (see photo - right side has blackout liner). I think they are very fairly priced and they are of reasonable quality (not the fanciest, but they are practical if one is on a budget - like me). They were easy to install -- just ensure that you look at the photo that comes inside the packaging -- basically, you should ensure there are two rings (attached to blackout curtain liners) in between two folds of the curtains. I would highly recommend these blackout liners. I will be ordering another set for a different room.

I am quite happy with these curtain liners. They have a great quality feel to them. Very easy to install & hang nicely. Hopefully, once it gets cold they'll keep out the chill.

These curtains were easy to hang and worked really well to reduce the heat. The white ones are more of a light grey than white.

These are great blackout curtains. Came with an extra two rings, they were easy to install and really do the job my room is nice and dark. I haven’t had them on long enough to tell whether it makes a difference with the temperature in the room

These are definitely not black out. Even with a thick curtain on top of them they let in light. I was misguided into buying them because of the reviews, don’t make the same mistake.

Not blacking the light at all. Expensive but it doent do the job. Very disappointed.I even have a picture of how it is not blocking light at all.
