This works well and also doubles as a guide for drilling holes with a hand drill. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done.

This leveling guide is printed on a 3D printer. Nothing wrong with that, but I was expecting something a little sturdier.The magnets do hold the tool to a drill bit, but they are not strong magnets. I found myself lowering the bit and tool onto the table and instead of staying on the bit so I could see if the table was out of level, it just pushed the gauge away from the bit.Had they included a square rod with a machined round end to put into the chuck it would have held in the 90º notch a little more securely.That, or just design a triangle with a post on the top that you insert into the drill chuck.The other option would be to print a triangle with a 1/4" hole that you inserted a 1/4" bit into. It would hold it securely and not wiggle loose when it touched the table.It works ok, but could be improved.
