These work great to lift meat off the smoker. My husband was using gloves but those created a clean up mess to wash them after each smoker session. These clean up so well with Dawn soap or too rack of the dishwasher.

I use these for my oven air fryer basket and tray, and to flip cakes out of their pans. They work well. I can see how they would work well for grilling too.

I like that you can slip these on and off without using your other hand, unlike gloves. It makes it easy to multi-task while cooking though they are a bit more awkward to use than gloves at first. I also like that they are liquid proof. Some high temperature gloves are fabric based and work fine until they come into contact with hot liquid from a cooking dish. Then the hot liquid goes right through the gloves to your hands. Not so with these mitts. Because it’s winter, I have not used these on the grill where it is hotter but they work fine for household cooking where temperatures are typically much lower than their maximum rating. I do feel slight warmth, so I’m not sure how they’ll do with grill temps.
