I purchased 2 for two bathroom tubs with shower curtains. They work great and I would highly recommend. First, you do need to close your shower like you should with or without using this item. But, it absolutely works and stops water from going to your floor. I mounted it about an inch from the edge of the tub. My only advice is that I would use fast dry white latex caulk with silicone. Available at any hardware store. The adhesive they provide did not want to harden. I did not knock any points of my rating as I liked the part so much and that is what is most important. Last, I waited 24 hours for the part to adhere to the tub and then on the end where the part meets the wall (my wall is subway tile), I used the sanded tile caulk to grount the end gap between the part and the wall. Looks great! Works great! highly recommend but again, use the adhesive I recommend. Also, fast fedex shipping from the seller.

This product is overpriced for what you get. They send an adhesive/caulk to secure it to the tub but it never hardens or sets and the guard slides around and comes off. I installed it according to the directions and applied the adhesive/caulk where it indicated and it didn't adhere to the tub, which is completely smooth . And the guide was not completely straight and one end kept raising up a bit and leaving a tiny crack, which leaked water.I do not recommend this product at all.

This product seemed amazing; but unfortunately, it did not fit the shape of my bathtub edges, so I am returning it (double-check before ordering). This is not the vendor's fault.On the other hand, their return policy is not what one would expect from Amazon. They have their own requirements, and there is some cost for the customer (check the screenshot with their instructions/policy).I already pay amazon prime fees and was not expecting to be required to pay restocking fees, shipping/ handling, and insure the package. One only learns about this policy after starting the return process. I wish I knew about it, so I would have skipped this vendor.

It is of good solid quality, but you only get one, which in ,y opinion is usueles, especially at this price point, ALL other are a package of 2, for half the price.If you still want this one, get your own caulk and adhesive. You'll only make a terrible mess with the little foile bag of caulk it comes with.

I've had this for a month and I'm too lazy to actually install it with caulking. However, just by it sitting on the edge of my tub, this little piece of plastic already solves 90% of my issues with water leaking onto the floor. I can only imagine how nice it will be when I actualy install it!

While it is a little pricey when factoring in the shipping costs, this guard prevents any wayward water that isn't caught by the shower curtain from running on the floor. Relatively easy to install with silicone caulk and blending it in to shower ensemble. I took my time...caulked the guard into place, dry for 24 hours, add additional caulk and blended-in using isopropyl alcohol and a caulking edging tool.

Was having some issues with a shower/tub combo of some of the backsplash from the shower water bouncing off occupants pooling around the edges faster than it would drip back into the tub, leaving the best direction for the extra water to go out the front and onto the bathroom floor... Installing this 100% fixed the issue. Was easy - just once you get it cemented in place leave it for at least 24 hours!!! The rubber cement remains malleable for a very long time before it sets.
